We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Business Solutions Manager to join our IT team. This role will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems, focusing on the MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules. The SAP Business Solutions Manager will ensure these systems effectively support business operations and drive efficiency, managing both vendor relationships and an in-house team. The position reports to the IT Director.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnership and Technology Roadmap implementation
- Understand and address business needs and challenges related to SAP solutions, including MM, FI, and SD modules.
- Contribute to developing and driving the SAP strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to select and deliver effective SAP solutions, working with vendor partners and internal teams.
- Build and lead a skilled team dedicated to SAP solutions development, including identifying key roles, recruiting top talent, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Project Management
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of SAP MM, FI, and SD modules to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Vendor and Team Management
- Manage relationships with SAP vendors to ensure effective delivery of services and solutions.
- Lead and mentor an in-house team, providing direction and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Facilitate effective communication between vendors, IT, and business units to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Ensure effective communication between IT and business units.
- Conduct regular meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Change Management
- Lead efforts to ensure smooth adoption of SAP technologies and address any resistance to change.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support SAP initiatives.
- Performance Metrics
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of SAP initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure goals are met and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in IT, with significant experience in SAP implementation and management, particularly with MM, FI, and SD modules.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- SAP certification is highly desirable.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong configuration and hands-on experience with SAP MM, FI, and SD modules; knowledge of integration with other SAP modules and external applications.
- Strong knowledge of business process analysis and challenges.
- Passionate about delivering solutions and solving customer and business problems.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management, project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration across organizational levels and a diverse environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to mentor junior to mid-level teammates.
