SAP Business Objects Architect BO\/BODS Experience - Compunnel : Job Details

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Objects Architect with strong expertise in BusinessObjects development, data services, and BI solution architecture. The ideal candidate must be ITAR compliant and possess a deep understanding of data modeling, reporting, and data warehouse integration, with exposure to modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP BusinessObjects solutions, including Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and universe design.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient database interactions.
• Work with SAP Data Services (version 4.2 or higher) for ETL processes; Informatica experience is a plus.
• Support BWHANA decommissioning and migration projects to Snowflake.
• Manage user security, report scheduling, and instance management within BusinessObjects.
• Create and modify database tables within the Data Warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable BI solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP BusinessObjects development and architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services and/or Informatica.
• Exposure to BWHANA and Snowflake migration projects.
• Strong understanding of BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience in dimensional data modeling and BI solution architecture.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial and economic data trends.
• Exposure to third-party data sources and SAP BW HANA environments.
• Familiarity with ITAR compliance requirements.
