SAP Business Analyst - Solomon Page : Job Details

We are hiring for an SAP Business Analyst who will assist us in all escalated points around SAP system. This is a high-visibility role with large beauty company located in New York City, NY (10012) requiring 3 days hybrid onsite. This candidate will be an SME for internal and external partners using the SAP system and would come from a background working with a large matrixed organization, ideally in the beauty, CPG, apparel, retail or similar industry.

Responsibilities:

• The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business users and various technical teams in identifying and gathering business requirements related to EDI and SAP, business processes and helping translate business processes and outcome into technical systems changes.
• The Business Analyst is responsible for co-ordination / escalation point for support teams globally across all SAP modules, external vendor, and customer management, to ensure data interfaces between customers, vendors and partners are being completed effectively.
• The role will review business and technical change requests for impact, develop and document future changes and contribute to the overall SAP and IT roadmap and strategy.
• Lead and deliver small change projects across SAP and other systems.
• Work with multiple teams to co-ordinate and manage changes and incidents, both internal and external.
• Work with External customers and partners on EDI and other interface changes.
• Regular Issue resolution, co-ordination, escalation and the planning and implementation of Integration planned changes are all core responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA in a relevant discipline.
• 7-10 years of Business Analyst experience with SAP and various Integration technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills, requirements specification, QA testing capabilities, technical/functional knowledge of EDI standards and formats, technical/functional knowledge of SAP IDOCs, and should be proficient with SAP PI.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid project management skills with ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proven ability to think outside the box and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Should possess strong working knowledge of Retail and Supply Chain processes (Order-to-Cash, Logistics and Procure-to-Pay), e.g., Orders, Dispatch, Invoice, ASNs, Shipping, Labelling, Routing.
