This job requires good physical stamina, the ability to perform light to heavy scrubbing, sweeping and rinsing, as well as the ability to follow directions. This position requires being actively engaged in safety, participating in safety programs, engaged in safety activities, requires performing risk assessments and demonstrating ownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other Team Members.Job DescriptionPrepare and/or mix cleaning and sanitizing chemicalsUse foaming equipment to apply cleaning chemicals to equipmentScrub equipment using scrub brushes and/or pads to clean, sanitize, and polish equipment using dilute cleaning chemicalsRinse cleaning chemicals off equipment using a high pressure water hoseMaintain good housekeeping in his/her assigned area: Sweep with a broom and/or squeegee, shovel, scrub using scrub brushes and/or pads and scrapers, and rinse equipment with high pressure water and/or air hosesChange grader shaker screens in packaging rooms and in prep area when requiredActively engaged in safety, participating in safety programs, safety activities, perform risk assessments and demonstrate ownership as well as leadership in personal safety of other team members.
