SANITATION LABORER 2ND SHIFT - Pilgrim's Pride : Job Details

DescriptionJob Summary:Sanitation team members are responsible for performing steps of sanitary restoration on assigned equipment, and services for which he or she has been specifically trained. With a main emphasis on safety, this individual will utilize industrial sanitizers and equipment to return equipment to a level of cleanliness compliant with USDA regulations. This individual must be a hard-working and responsible individual. Candidates must will to work as part of a team to achieve the same overall goal. This is a full-time job, with weekly pay and great benefits. Must be 18 or older to apply.* Clean and sanitize room after processing is complete.* Required to work on wet and slippery surfaces each day.* Ear plugs and earmuffs will be used as needed.* Chemicals Commonly Used: Formaldehyde is in use at the facility, disinfectant, lubricants and Virocid.* Safety: Team Member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Physical: Must use safe lifting techniques.* Must be able to life/move 50 lb.* Overhead lifting is required.* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand majority of shift (concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend over; talk or hear.* Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.* Tools and Equipment: High Pressure hose.* Environment: Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments.* Personal Protective Equipment Required: Safety glasses, Safety goggles, face shield, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required when handling chemicals.Benefits:* Health, Dental and Vision Insurance* Paid Vacations* Paid Holidays* Schedule: Monday - Friday including holidays and possible weekends.* We provide our team members and their families with paid time off; 401(k) plans; affordable health, life, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; and more!Must be 18 or older to apply.Authorized to work in the US.EOE including disability/vets
