Sander Operator - Owens Corning : Job Details

Set up and operate the sander according to production specifications. Monitor the sanding process and make adjustments to ensure consistent finish quality. Inspect sanded components for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sanding equipment. Document production output and machine settings as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate issues with equipment or product quality to supervisor. Follow all company policies, safety rules, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Education: HS Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Preferred background in agricultural or industrial settings. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move boards weighing 50 75 lbs. (with assistance).
