Sander/General Helper - Immediately Hiring - Express Employment Professionals : Job Details

General Helper / Sande r Newburyport MA 1st and 2nd shift $20 hr. Job Functions and Responsibilities 1. Follow instruction and learn architectural woodworking and cabinetry (all aspects). 2. Sand and scuff: manual, as well as power-assisted. 3. Operate all equipment as directed, but not before being instructed by Job Captain and approved for operation by the Shop Foreman. 4. Set up equipment as instructed by the Shop Foreman or Job Captain, but not before being instructed by Job Captain and approved for operation by the Shop Foreman. 5. Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, trash collecting, cleaning bathrooms, etc. 6. Assist Woodworkers and Finishers. 7. Assist Shipping and Receiving Department with loading and unloading of trucks, packing millwork for transport, etc. 8. Own tools as required by the Shop Foreman. 9. Develop good organizational skills. 10. Maintain a positive attitude and be self-motivated, energetic, cooperative, and hard working. 11. Be punctual and maintain consistent attendance. 12. Work overtime as required. 13. Be safety conscious at all times. 14. Report any and all unsafe conditions and acts immediately to a supervisor or the Human Resource Manager. 15. Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform general housekeeping duties (cleaning work areas, replacing items used, etc.) 16. Adhere to all Mark Richey Woodworking policies as outlined in the company handbook and safety manual.
