Job Description

Position Summary:

The Sample Registration Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining the non-automated storage areas by performing the storing, retrieving, and discarding samples. Managing all storage areas by assessing the work backlog. Assessing the hazardous samples and processing them to the correct waste streams while in communication with Environmental Health and Safety. Assisting on operating the automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) for storing, retrieving, and discarding samples. Acting as a resource for the technical departments concerning all sample questions and problems. Delivering samples to the appropriate laboratory's throughout the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Store and retrieve samples using the ASRS and other non-automated applications while maintaining quality, safety, productivity, and efficiency standards set by management
  • Perform sample discard using the ASRS and other non-automated applications
  • Perform assessments on Hazardous samples
  • Keeps area clean and free of clutter
  • Takes inventory of designated items as necessary
  • Deliver samples to the proper laboratory as needed throughout the shift
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

Position is 2nd shift, M-F. Training will be 1st shift, M-F

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate a computer and printer
  • Must be able to follow SOPs and work instructions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Some coursework and/or experience with electronics
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Information

Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Pay rate: $17.75 + 10% shift differential

Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
