Wilmington, DE

Monday-Friday (8am-5pm EST)

CSC is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions and Strategic Director to lead the vision, design and execution of our Commercial Salesforce instance. The ideal candidate is both a big-picture strategist and a hands-on leader, able to translate business needs into scalable, future-proof Salesforce solutions that improve customer experience, streamlines operations, and enables data-driven decision-making This leader will serve as the strategic architect and trusted advisor, aligning Salesforce capabilities with organization goals, while driving innovation and maximizing ROI from our Salesforce investment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define, drive and implement an overall Salesforce roadmap, aligning it with corporate goals and objectives
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable, integrated Salesforce solutions across Sales and Marketing
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand Salesforce capabilities, adopt emerging technologies, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Mentor and guide a team of Salesforce administrators fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and high performance
  • Establish best practices for security, integrations, and platform governance across the organization, breaking down silos and expanding efficiencies
  • Partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to identify priorities, opportunities, and gaps in Salesforce utilization
  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce projects, identify and gather requirements, translating into best practices, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Collaborate with Salesforce and third-party vendors to evaluate products, negotiate agreements, and ensure successful delivery
  • Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and other systems or third party suppliers
  • Proactively identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and increased efficiency within the Salesforce environment.

Experience

  • 15+ years of experience working with Salesforce in a leadership capacity, with at least 10 years' hands-on experience in Salesforce administration
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale Salesforce implementations and cross-functional teams
  • Extensive experience in configuring and customizing Salesforce across multiple clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud and AppExchange solutions.).
  • Salesforce consulting background experience a plus

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform tools, including Lightning Experience, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce integrations with third party platforms
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce automation tools, including Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules
  • Expertise in Salesforce architecture, security model, and data management
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes
  • Exceptional project management and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to solving problems and implementing solutions
  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements, self-starter with the ability to drive initiatives independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
