The purpose of the Salesforce Solution Designer is to provide Architecture and Design thought leadership and guidance to complex Salesforce implementations. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders (business partners, delivery leads, scrum masters, and technical peers) to ensure maximum value is delivered to the business and the platform is robust. The role requires demonstrating progressive technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, building internal knowledge of the technical solutions, and maintaining continuity as SI resources transition.

• Transform requirements into best practice-led Salesforce architecture and design in collaboration with Sector Delivery leads and Product Managers.
• Design and govern highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Create architecture/design documents following Salesforce best practices and PepsiCo standards.
• Address ambiguous problems, find solutions, and simplify complex issues.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and drive successful resolutions.
• Use deep business knowledge of Salesforce products to assist with estimation for major initiatives.
• Contribute to CoE activities by creating reference architectures, patterns, data models, and reusable assets to maximize business value.
• Educate stakeholders about Salesforce technology through CoPs, workshops, or conferences.

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or similar.
• 15+ years of IT experience with solution design/architecture in large enterprises.
• 8-10 years of Salesforce.com experience, including customization, integration, and Lightning development.
• At least 4 years as a Salesforce Architect/Technical Lead.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Strong communication skills.

• Salesforce Mobile SDK experience.
• Experience with CG Cloud or Field Service Lightning.
• Active Salesforce Developer or Architect Certification.
• Leadership and influence skills.
• Ability to operate in unstructured situations and build consensus.

• Salary range: $106,400 - $178,100.
• Performance bonus: 12% of annual salary.
