Sales Representative for NYC - CW Distributing : Job Details

We are a fast growing young company that is ready for the next expansion....We are looking for someone that will be with us for the next decade or longer that can help with expansion. We are looking for someone that is Motivated, well organized, and has a minimum of 3-5 years wine sales experience with either on or off premise accounts. This will be a 1099 sales position to start, evaluated quarterly, with the capabilities to turn into a full time roll with compensation. Starting with 10% commission, bonus incentives, as well as covering all day-to-day expenses. GENERIC SALES REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:-Sales Representatives are expected to promote brands and increase brand awareness, by increasing brand visibility and conducting staff training/education programs within their accounts.-Develop new business relationships with decision makers while identifying potential customers and developing a business plan to reach them.-Ensure execution of the developed sales strategies, objectives, goals and targeted revenue generation by partnering with key retailers and establishments in the specified market.-Have extensive knowledge of the company's products and knowing in-depth features and benefits of each compared to the competition.-Prepare professional sales presentations for each account call tailored to current supplier programs and the needs of the customer.-Gain knowledge of customer's business operations and coordinating multiple and diverse options for selling the company's products to each.-Assist and participate in trade and consumer events.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (These are required to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations):-Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, and reach more than 4 hours a day.-Must be able to work varying hours including some night and weekend work.-Willing and able to travel from account to account.Job category: Sales and Marketing
