What you will do

The candidate will integrate with the Internal Sales staff and assist with all functions related (quoting, order processing, invoicing, shipping, export/import documentation, and filing).

Education:

• BSME or BSEE or equivalent degree preferred.
• One (1) year of professional level experience in a business office.

Essential Functions:

• Computer literate and have knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Word and Excel.
• Organizational skills and able to set priorities.
• Excellent phone and communication skills.
• Able to handle weekend/evening phone coverage on a rotating basis.
• Regular in attendance and willing to work hours as required.
• Other duties to be assigned, as required.

Non-Essential Functions:

• Familiar with databases.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Familiar with export regulations and procedures, is a plus.
• Able to speak a foreign language, is a plus.

• Able to see and read printed word.
• Able to speak and hear on the telephone.
• Able to sit for long periods of time and able to traverse the building.
• Have neat business-like appearance.
• Have valid driver's license and able to drive an automobile.
• Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
