Sales Manager - LTL/Freight - FedEx : Job Details

Achieves assigned district goals through the effective management of a LTL sales team. Plans, executes and oversees sales activities. Essential Functions - Provide daily leadership and guidance in the areas of training, coaching and development within the FedEx Freight Sales organization. - Call on selected accounts with sales representatives. - Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills. - Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree/equivalent. Minimum Experience Five (5) years of LTL selling experience, or two (2) years sales management experience. Knowledge, skills and abilities considered a plus: LTL leadership experience considered a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Proven leadership building, scaling & leading high-performing sales teams from the ground up, Less-than-Truckload (LTL) operations & sales experience, managed through change & delivered results in dynamic environments.
