Ohly is the third largest yeast extract producer in the world with sites in Germany and the USA. We develop, produce and deliver high-quality yeast-based flavours and specialty powders. This means that decisions are taken as close as possible to their point of impact allowing teams the freedom to act, in order to be successfully flexible and fast. ABF invests a great deal in selecting and developing the right people for Ohly and the broader ABF group of companies. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Manager (m/f/d) in APAC to position the company for future growth. You will be part of our Global Sales Team in the Food Division. This is a home base role, ideally in Bangkok Thailand. Fluency in English is a must. Your tasks:

  • Execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the assigned sub region within APAC
  • You achieve your sales targets by providing comprehensive support to existing customers and business partners, along with acquiring new business in new target markets/segments
  • Through sustainable and interdisciplinary Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the use of control instruments (KPIs), you manage direct customers (local and global accounts) and business partners
  • Track market trends, competitors' activities and customer needs, with the ability to internalize this knowledge to stay ahead in the industry
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Customer Service, Supply Chain, Technical Sales and Innovations) to address market needs and challenges
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and meet deadlines for regular performance reports
Your Profile:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in business management, marketing or food science related field
  • 10+ yeast of sales and commercial experience in food ingredients, preferably specialty ingredients and flavors industry
  • Excellent planning, organization and problem-solving skills
  • High energy, positive attitude, goal oriented, self-starter, motivated, disciplined
  • Strong personal computer skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, MS Teams/Zoom, Skype
