As our Global Sales Excellence and Tender Management Expert supporting our Americas hemisphere, you will serve as a key contributor in driving customer share-of-wallet growth within Global Accounts by acting as both a project manager and our strategic sales partner. You will support account expansion initiatives and deliver high-impact, strategic account management in collaboration with the Key Account Team, crafting compelling value propositions that align with client needs and business objectives.
How you create impact
Act as a project manager throughout the tender lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and execution of all tender-related activities
Proactively engage with stakeholders to align expectations, manage risks, and monitor progress
Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers to analyze tender requirements, identify key stakeholders, translate customer needs, and define clear objectives & strategy for the tender
Work with the pricing team to create accurate and competitive rate structures that meet customer needs, resolving any inconsistencies promptly
Act as a sales contributor by reviewing customer needs, exploring tailored solutions, and identifying opportunities to add value
Partner with Key Account Managers to evaluate tender outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and refine strategies for future opportunities
Manage the handover from tender management to implementation, ensuring all commercial aspects meet the agreed methodology and customer expectations
Ensure rate cards are up-to-date, and customer setups are precisely maintained, enabling seamless and efficient business operations
Organize and coordinate key business reviews (e.g., MBRs, QBRs, YBRs) to foster continuous customer engagement, deliver ongoing value
Promote global best practices and actively participate in initiatives and projects to ensure ongoing account success
What we would like you to bring
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, or relevant work experience
3+ years' experience in solution consulting, preferably in the supply chain industry
3+ years' experience in pricing/tender management
3+ years' experience in projects management and cross functional collaboration with diverse teams across regions and time zones in a global matrix environment
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and intermediate to advanced Excel; Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is beneficial
Previous Experience and solid understanding of freight forwarding and logistics operations
Strong customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and value
Demonstrable experience clearly convey complex ideas and updates to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the tender and sales process
