Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst

A rapidly growing global client headquartered in the Wilmington,DE area isseeking a Senior Compensation Analyst for a 100% remote position. Sales incentive compensation design is required.

This Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the development, analysis, and improvement of incentive plans that encourage performance, align with organizational priorities, and drive profitable results. Responsibilities:

The Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Create and update incentive compensation plans reflecting go-to-market priorities and profitability targets
  • Work closely with Sales and Finance leaders to integrate business goals, quota methodology, and plan design
  • Review existing programs for effectiveness and propose changes that balance competitiveness with fiscal discipline
  • Develop financial and performance models to evaluate plan structures, project cost implications, and test scenarios
  • Perform ROI and sensitivity analyses to determine potential results at different achievement levels.
  • Convert detailed data into clear insights and practical recommendations
  • Present program recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Act as main knowledge point for incentive design, governance frameworks, and industry best practices
  • Ensure plan design compliance with policies, controls, and procedures
  • Monitor incentive program performance after implementation and recommend adjustments

Skills/Competencies:

The ideal Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst will possess any of these skills:

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
  • 6-8 years of sales compensation design and strategy experience
  • Incentive mechanics, quota methodology, sales plan design,, and performance analytics proficiency
  • Advanced Excel modeling experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sales compensation systems (Anaplan, Xactly, Workday) knowledge preferred
  • Strong attention to detail

Additional Details:

Salary: To $140k

Employment Type: direct hire

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
