As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for engaging with key decision-makers and professionals in the OTC products and services space. You will collaborate with engineers, operations, and maintenance teams to identify solutions, conduct product presentations and demonstrations, and build lasting relationships with customers and vendors. In this role, you will perform equipment failure analyses, manage performance improvement programs, and provide start-up service and support when needed. Additionally, you'll strengthen connections through customer engagement and joint sales calls, while maintaining a deep knowledge of industry standards and products.
\n \nWhat You'll Do:\nEngage with decision-makers for OTC products and services.
\nCollaborate with engineers, operations and maintenance professionals to solve problems.
\nConduct product presentations and demonstrations for customers.
\nBuild rapport and conduct joint sales calls with manufacturers.
\nAttend sales and company meetings as required.
\nMaintain a high level of product and industry knowledge.
\nStrengthen relationships with customers and vendors through entertainment.
\nProvide start-up service and support when required.
\nPerform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings.
\nManage equipment performance improvement programs and report results quarterly.
\nOther duties may be assigned.
\nBS in Mechanical Engineering or 5 Years Sales Experience with pumps and/or rotating equipment.
\nKnowledge of the design and operation of pumps, motors, mechanical seals, and other rotating equipment.
\nMechanical Seal experience is not a requirement but is a huge plus.
\nSuccessful experience maintaining existing relationships, leading to sales of products and services.

\nMust be able to secure a TWIC. (multiple accounts require this in the territory)
