About us Your Contribution
  • Support order incoming, turnover and standard gross margin for AO products to Defense customers in the Americas
  • Identify and qualify Defense business opportunities across the Americas
  • Cultivate Defense related customer accounts and assist in identifying new programs and accounts
  • Serve as the SME for customer inquiries and commercial efforts
  • Coordinate account reviews and ensure high customer service and satisfaction
  • Understand and communicate the full range of material offerings, components and capabilities concerning each AO global facility
  • Prepare quotes, submit proposals and conduc PO reviews
  • Provide regular sales activity reports and key activities and findings
  • Assist in customer complaint handling
  • Attend trade shows, conference, exhibitions, etc.- as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions
  • Assist in executing the Defense focus market strategy in alignment with Corporate objectives
  • Monitor Defense market trands, customer roadmaps, competitor activity, DOD budget books and government contracts
  • Update Business Intelligence sales planning and rolling forecasts
  • Support technical discussions and contract negoitiations for Defense programs
  • Support safety/EHS directive and follow Company policies and procedures
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline or science- Optics, Material Science, or Physics preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in Technical Sales, Applications Engineering, or Business Development
  • Knowlege of Optical materials and components, along with their properties and performance, are strongly preferred
  • Exposure to USD Defense and/or Aerospace markets
  • Ability to communicate (read, write and speak) in English
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Must be US citizen
  • Hunter personality, strongly needed
