Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will provide technical support, manage customer relations, and drive sales efforts. Day-to-day tasks include understanding client needs, designing and presenting technical solutions, and supporting clients through the sales process. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery. We're seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support the sales process for our solutions and their core offerings. In this role, you'll work closely with our sales team, product managers, and clients to identify customer needs and present tailored solutions. You'll play a key part in accelerating the adoption of our solutions for jobsite documentation, stakeholder communication, and progress validation.Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with account executives to understand client challenges and align iFieldSmart's solutions with their construction workflows.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations, focusing on real-world use cases (e.g., owner walkthroughs, closeout workflow, punch lists, and remote inspections).
  • Provide pre-sales consulting, including workflow analysis, solution mapping, and ROI justification.
  • Educate clients on integrating our solutions with tools like Procore, Autodesk Constructicon cloud, and project schedules.
  • Support marketing and business development at industry events such as Autodesk University, ENR Conferences, Procore Groundbreak, and other construction expos.
  • Serve as a feedback conduit to product and engineering teams, helping improve feature sets and user experience based on field insights.
  • Prepare and deliver technical content such as RFP responses, implementation guides, and case studies.
Prefered SkillsExperience in reality capture or VDC teams.Ability to develop custom demos using actual project environments.Passion for digital transformation in construction.Qualifications
  • Experience in Sales Engineering and strong technical support skills
  • Proficient in Sales with excellent Customer Service skills
  • Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Deep understanding of construction jobsite workflows, documentation requirements, and field collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with 360° camera technology, photogrammetry, and tools like Matterport, HoloBuilder, or OpenSpace is a strong advantage
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • 2 plus years of experience in Construction Management, or related field.
  • Knowledge of BIM platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Tekla is a plus
  • Experience in the construction industry is beneficial
