Job Summary

As a Sales Consultant with TriNet, you'll help power business success by pursuing new prospects, sharing our value proposition, and selling TriNet's comprehensive solutions, including benefits, payroll, and HR services to companies with 5-99 employees within your designated territory. You'll prospect, build your own book of business, own your opportunities, and execute your sales process, including building pipelines, conducting meetings, writing proposals, and presenting to decision-makers.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual plan to achieve targets within your territory.
  • Build a pipeline through prospecting and leveraging ecosystem partners.
  • Qualify opportunities based on target market understanding.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships to foster long-term client relationships.
  • Manage a multi-step sales process over 3-6 months.
  • Utilize sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo.
  • Meet sales activity metrics to achieve quota.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly.
  • Demonstrate TriNet's core values daily.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Typically 3+ years in B2B complex sales; PEO experience is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build a book of business, manage multiple priorities, and develop ecosystem partnerships.
    • Experience with MS Office and Salesforce.com.

    Travel & Work Environment

    • Willingness to travel within your territory.
    • Remote work possible with reliable internet; work in a comfortable environment.
