WisdomTree Asset Management is seeking Internal Sales Associates based in the New York Metropolitan area. In this role, you will work closely with established Sales Directors and Associate Directors to increase sales of our exchange-traded funds ( ETFs ). We are seeking candidates with a strong knowledge of the financial services industry and a positive winning attitude. Hybrid opportunity.Success in this role would be achieved by:
- Prospecting and pre-qualifying leads by leveraging proprietary databases and research
- Initiating and maintaining a relationship with RIA and/or Wirehouse Financial Advisors
- Engaging proactively with Financial Advisors using phone, web presentations, targeted emails, and other technologies
- Delivering value-added commentary, research, and due diligence material to Advisors throughout the sales cycle
- Promoting industry knowledge & trends across the greater sales team
Experience and Required skill set:
- BS/BA degree required; business-related degree preferred. Additional advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 license in good standing
- 1-3 years of experience within the asset management industry specializing in ETFs, mutual funds, or separate accounts
- Proven understanding of the asset management industry and ability to develop relationships with portfolio managers and research analysts
- Ability to succeed in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Discipline to work remotely from home as needed - hybrid
- Live within a reasonable commuting distance from our Midtown Manhattan office
- Proficient in SalesForce CRM and Excel
- Strong character references and a clean compliance record
- High degree of professional maturity
$80,000 - $85,000 a year
For New York City only: The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as location, role, company, department, experience and individual performance.
