The Sales Accountant is a member of a collaborative team and serves as a business partner to the dealer s offices. The position will take on a broad range of responsibilities related to accounts receivable, sales and art purchasing journal entries entering and reporting cash receipts in multiple currencies; reconciliation of trial balance accounts including sales, sales tax, receivables, inventory, artist production and artist payables; reviewing and generating corresponding entries for recognizing sales according to GAAP and industry standard rules; reporting sales to management; completing sales reports of gallery sales for artists; review of / revisions to customer statements and support to dealer s office of customer account information.
