Safety & Security Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Safety & Security Coordinator to oversee workplace safety, security, and compliance programs. This role is responsible for protecting employees, visitors, and assets while driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce safety and security policies in line with OSHA and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
- Manage SDS documentation, chemical labeling, and PPE compliance.
- Coordinate and deliver training, including new hire orientation and emergency response.
- Monitor security systems and collaborate with external agencies as needed.
- Support crisis management and business continuity planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in safety/security management (industrial or corporate setting preferred).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, Workers' Compensation, and liability insurance.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security systems.
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR.
