Safety Officer, 1st Shift - Messiah College : Job Details

This is a 1st Shift Position. The employee works four ten hour shifts per week, with the standard hours of 6 am 4 pm. The employee is scheduled to work every-other weekend (Fri-Mon). Position responsibilities include security patrols of campus (by vehicle and on foot), responding to medical and emergency calls for service, opening of administrative and academic buildings, providing safe-ride services, enforcing of all University student and employee conduct policies, conducting criminal investigations, community engagement with faculty, staff and students, and engaging with all community members in a Christ-like manner. Education Required High school diploma or equivalent Education Preferred Associate or Bachelors degree Experience Required One year of employment in the safety and security services field or emergency services industry.
