Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Engineer 1 - Denso International America : Job Details

The position will provide technical support in the design and development of safety policies, procedures, and programs. Position will provide support to ensure DENSO maintains compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The position will provide technical support ensuring compliance federal, state and local safety regulations and maintenance of the ISO 45001 system. Roles and Responsibilities: Designs, develops, and administers policies and procedures to ensure regulatory standards compliance. Conducts training and provides interpretations of policies and procedures. Performs hazard assessments which may include hazard identification, ergonomic evaluations, and recommending countermeasures to management that will reduce/eliminate hazards. Performs periodic inspections of facility operations and participates in safety audits. Maintains safety equipment inventory. Develops, designs and may operate site specific safety equipment to determine the safety risk of the operation.
