Safety Data Analyst

Location: Billings Clinic Main Campus Shift: Day, Evenings, Nights, Weekends Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater) Hours per Pay Period: 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt) Starting Wage DOE: $29.08 - $36.34

Safety Data Analysts work independently to analyze, develop, maintain, and evaluate safety data system metrics. They collaborate to interpret safety-related data, identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Responsibilities include administrative support such as scheduling, data analysis, research, and reporting.

Essential Job Functions
  • Support and model behaviors aligned with the mission and values of Billings Clinic.
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining supplies.
  • Gather, validate, and analyze safety data from various sources.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Maintain and improve data systems and databases.
  • Summarize safety information for presentations and provide recommendations.
  • Identify data needs and develop systems to collect required information.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data inter-relationships.
  • Proactively identify problems and suggest solutions to support strategic goals.
  • Use performance improvement principles to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Identify personal educational needs and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Maintain competency in safety standards and organizational policies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree and computer coursework or equivalent experience.

Experience: At least 1 year of professional or safety-related experience, with preferred experience in health and safety data analysis. Knowledge of safety compliance metrics and reporting systems is essential.
