Pilgrims is looking for a Safety Coordinator to provide assistance to the safety and health efforts of the Operation as directed by the Complex Safety Manager and Safety Specialist This role will be based in at our processing plant in Cold Spring, MN. At Pilgrims, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first - always. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Help identify and anticipate safety and health concerns and hazards by surveying environmental, operational, and occupational conditions; assessing new equipment and procedures; investigating violations. Complies with Federal, State and Local safety regulations. Promotes safe work performance. Enforces safety policies by conducting audits and counseling employees. Provide safety training to team members. Promotes a safe environment. Maintains safety information database. Contributes to safety team projects and activities.
