Position Summary
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for the weekly, monthly, and annual inspections of all intermediate care facility (ICF) homes within Horizon. This individual will document deficiencies and identify and coordinate connections to ensure a safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This position will report to Horizon's Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and Horizon's health and safety policies and procedures for ICF housing. This position will communicate as needed with housing managers and staff to ensure compliance with the Life Safety Code and local fire codes, as well as CMS as it relates to disaster preparedness.
