RTO Instructional DesignerKimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is a regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) dedicated to providing a unified voice and support for member ACCHS across the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Established in 1986, KAMS plays a pivotal role in delivering a range of health services, including primary health care, population health programs, and accredited health training and education.
Our vision is to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people in the Kimberley, achieved through strong advocacy, quality healthcare services, and fostering a skilled workforce. KAMS is committed to a holistic view of Aboriginal health encompassing physical, social, emotional, and cultural wellbeing.
Position SummaryThe RTO Instructional Designer is a role focused on creating effective training materials aimed at improving learning outcomes among Aboriginal health clinicians in the Kimberley. The position may also require delivery of various training programs as needed.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, particularly within the vocational education sector, and demonstrate a commitment to improving educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Desirable qualifications include experience as an Aboriginal Health Worker or Registered Nurse, a background in teaching Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples, and established connections to the local communities.
