RPG Programmer - TBG | The Bachrach Group : Job Details

Our client, a retail apparel chain in business for over 90 years, seeks an experienced RPG Programmer to support and enhance their ERP system in a fast-paced retail environment. You will be responsible for maintaining enterprise applications, resolving system issues, and leading development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily ERP system support and troubleshoot user issues.
• Develop and maintain applications using RPG (RPG IV, RPG Free, ILE), CL, and SQL on IBM iSeries.
• Work with business users and IT leadership to define requirements and implement enhancements.
• Manage programming projects and change requests under IT leadership.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for project execution and support.

Qualifications:

• Strong RPG programming experience in IBM i (AS400/iSeries) environments.
• Knowledge of retail business operations and ERP systems.
• Experience with Lawson ERP and eCommerce is a plus.
