Job DetailsJob Location West TN Healthcare Henry County - Paris, TN Position Type FT 80 Education Level High School Job Shift Days Job Category Health Care Description Under the general supervision of the food service supervisor, assists in general patient care and feeding through room service program. Subject to overtime as required by the hospital. QualificationsTasks: • Examine trays to ensure that they contain required items. • Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders or instructions. • Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and thatguidelines, such as those for special diets, are followed. • Load trays with accessories such as eating utensils, napkins, or condiments. • Carry food, silverware, or linen on trays or use carts to carry trays. • Clean or sterilize dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, or facilities. Skills: • Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. • Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people. • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. • Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. • Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react asthey do. • Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
