  • Lead and oversee all roll forming operations in the company.
  • Manage capital projects related to roll forming, including evaluating, purchasing, and installing new presses and equipment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce scrap, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with corporate and plant engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Establish and maintain company-wide roll forming standards, best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
  • Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and ROI for roll forming operations.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical expertise and leadership within the department.
  • Support new product launches and integration of new tooling, ensuring on-time and high-quality production.
  • Ability to identify, select, train and coach current and future roll-forming talent.
  • Report project status to department director and operational leaders.
  • Understand and help overcome roadblocks to successful completion of projects.
This full-time salary-exempt role is a part of our corporate operations team and reports to the Director of Manufacturing Services and Planning. Required experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in roll forming or metal forming operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience managing capital projects, including purchase and installation of presses or major equipment.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills across multiple sites or functions.
  • Expertise in roll forming processes, tooling, and automotive manufacturing standards.
  • Knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO/TS 16949) and safety regulations.
  • Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience driving Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.
