Robot Cell Programmer - STS Technical Services : Job Details

• Analyze SolidWorks plans and drawings to validate the capabilities of welding robots and pipe profilers through simulations.
• Assist SolidWorks designers in establishing rules and best practices for designing pipework to be cut and welded robotically.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure smooth integration of automated processes into the pipe welding workflow.
• Provide daily reports to the piping designer or engineer overseeing the project, updating them on progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Adapt to changes in project direction based on new information or shifting priorities.
• Work independently, while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with counterparts on the project.

• Experience with SolidWorks Pipe Routing is preferred but not required.
• Experience with large-diameter plumbing is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work autonomously, ensuring project tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to providing daily progress reports.
• Ability to adapt to changing project directions and pivot based on new information.
