Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Traffic Safety Patrol personnel to perform motorist assistance services in the Denver, Colorado area. Responsibilities include roadside assistance to motorists, communication with TMC for emergencies, mitigating traffic delays, increasing responder safety, and documenting all work with detailed logs. The primary goal is to ensure a smooth traffic flow and assist agencies in safely securing scenes and reopening roads promptly, adhering to all regulations and company policies. This role is ideal for someone committed to improving road safety for the public.

Requirements:

• Clean driving record
• Must pass criminal background check
• Applicable zip codes include: 80010, 80011, 80019, 80022, 80205, 80207, 80211, 80216, 80221, 80238, 80239, 80249, 80266

Salary: $22/hr, depending on licenses and experience.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, with flexibility for outside schedule when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol highways to assist disabled motorists, change tires, provide gas, and mitigate delays
• Communicate with Traffic Management Center during incidents
• Enhance safety for responders by providing advanced warning
• Record all work with detailed logs

Preferred Experience: Roadway maintenance, vehicle roadside assistance, MOT certifications, CPR certification.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Knowledge of local driving laws
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Proper safety equipment maintenance
• Adaptability to technology and work schedules
• Ability to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and operating tools
