We are currently seeking applications for the role of RN Unit Manager. As an RN Unit Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of top-notch care to our residents.

Salary: Up to $115,000 annually

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in evaluating and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to job descriptions by nursing services personnel.
• Address complaints and grievances and report them to the Director of Nursing Services.
• Provide leadership and supervision to assigned unit staff.
• Collaborate in maintaining adequate nursing coverage.
• Implement progressive counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Attend committee meetings and participate in quality assurance activities.
• Assume nursing responsibilities for weekend and holiday coverage.
• Assist in the development and implementation of discharge plans.
• Participate in budget requests and staff recruitment.
• Ensure residents and families receive high-quality, compassionate care.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid RN license in the State of New York.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
