The Neurology unit treats patients with strokes, spinal cord injuries, concussions, and more!Responsibilities:* Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.* Design and implement treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial and spiritual health.* Will be trained to perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions. Will be trained specifically on IVs, Blood Transfusions, Wound Vacs, Peritoneal Dialysis, Prosthetic Training.What you will need:* New York State RN License.* Associates Degree in Nursing. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
