RN - PICU - integrated resources : Job Details

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (RN - PICU)Location: Albany, NY Duration: 8+ Weeks with possible extensionPay Range: $65 – $70/hrWe are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

• Work Hours: 36 hours per week

• Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

• Nights Only

Seeking an experienced Travel PICU RN with a strong background in CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with critically ill pediatric patients and managing high-acuity cardiac conditions. Epic EMR experience is REQUIRED. This is a fast-paced, high-tech unit in a large academic hospital.

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients

• Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications

• Provide postoperative care for pediatric cardiac and surgical patients

• Collaborate closely with pediatric intensivists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

• Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) – Required

• PALS (AHA) – Required

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience – Required

• CVICU experience – REQUIRED

• Pediatric ICU experience – Strongly Preferred

• Epic EMR Experience – REQUIRED

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program – Required

• BSN – Preferred
