RN Peer Mentor-Home Health experience REQUIRED - Amedisys : Job Details

Coordinates and directs the provision of homecare according to individualized patient plan of care and company policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of home care and competency in discipline specific patient care skills required by the care center for the provision of patient care. Orients new clinicians (mentees) to the care center(s), including clinical home care, policies and procedures, documentation, technology, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates the learning experience to allow mentees to perform competently in their required responsibilities by mentoring, coaching, and role modeling correct behaviors. Ensures new hires follow and complete the Welcome Home orientation program in order and in the appropriate time frame Plans specific learning experiences to promote the acquisition of new knowledge, skills and abilities required of the job.
