RN - PACU - integrated resources : Job Details

Job Title: Travel RN PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)Location: Albany, NYDuration: 2+ months with Possible extension.Pay range - $60/hr. - $65/hr. We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility. Schedule:Shift Timing: 12:00 PM End Time: 12:30 AM Job Summary:Client is seeking an experienced PACU Travel RN for a high-acuity recovery unit. The RN will provide specialized care to post-operative patients, monitor vitals, manage pain control, and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort during recovery. Responsibilities:

• Monitor post-surgical patients vital signs and level of consciousness
• Administer medications, pain management, and IV therapy
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and support teams for safe recovery transition
• Handle emergency situations as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Provide patient and family education upon discharge
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards
• May be required to float to similar units based on facility need

Skills & Requirements:

• Licensure: Active NY RN license (No exceptions; pending license not accepted)
• Certifications:
• AHA BLS (Required)
• AHA ACLS (Preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
• EMR System: EPIC (Experience Required)
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor s Degree in Nursing
