RN Nurse Educator - Always Compassionate Health : Job Details

Location: Nurse will be traveling to different offices in Babylon, Patchogue, and Melville, NY

Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM 2:00 PM

Hourly Pay: $55/hour

Requirements: MUST have experience with homecare, infusion, vents, trachs, g-tubes, etc.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team at Always Compassionate Home Care. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive orientations for new hires, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring clinical competency of home health aides, LPN and RN's. The Nurse Educator will travel between our Babylon, Patchogue, and Melville offices and occasionally conduct virtual sessions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care, with infusion home care experience preferred, and be passionate about staff development, training, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person and virtual orientations for new aides.
• Provide home health-specific education to all new hires.
• Observe, assess, and document aides' clinical skills and hands-on competency.
• Identify and address performance or conduct issues during training sessions.
• Collaborate with recruiters and onboarding staff to support hiring goals.
• Recommend improvements to orientation processes.
• Complete all orientation documentation on the day of the session.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to demonstrate required care tasks during orientation and in the field.
• Weekly travel between assigned office locations is required.
