This role demands a commitment to clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and the integration of research and evidence-based practice. As a Level II Registered Nurse, you will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager and be accountable for delivering competent patient care based on established standards. Opportunities for expansion of roles will be available, including responsibilities as a charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with the best practices and standards of care. - Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. - Take on leadership roles within the unit, including charge nurse duties and mentorship of new staff. - Actively participate in committee work to promote continuous improvement in the nursing practice. Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required. - Telemetry Experience: Required. - Licensure: Must hold a valid New York State RN license. - CPR Certification: BLS (American Heart Association only) is required. - Ability to commit to a 17-week assignment ending 01/10/2026.
