RN - Med-Surg Float Pool - integrated resources : Job Details

Job Title: Registered Nurse Float (RN - Float)Location: Albany, NY 12208Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extensionPay Range: $65 $70/hrWe are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

• Work Hours: 36 hours per week

• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM

Seeking an experienced Travel Float Registered Nurse with the flexibility to support multiple units within a large academic hospital setting. Applicants must have recent Epic EMR experience and the ability to complete a required competency test within 24 hours of submission (unless meeting the 2-year experience threshold).

• Provide patient care across multiple units as staffing needs require

• Adapt quickly to varied unit environments including Med Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and specialty areas as needed

• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform interventions according to unit standards

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes

• Document all care provided using Epic EMR

• Epic EMR Experience: Required

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years total RN experience (no testing required), OR

• At least 1 year of experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency test score

Competency Test:

• Must be completed within 24 hours of submission

• Test link will be sent via candidate s email (ensure email is current)

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

License:

• NY RN License (Active only; no pending licenses accepted)
