RN - Maternal Special Care - Health Advocates Network : Job Details

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Maternal Special Care to work at a facility in Albany , NY. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $60 / hour

*W2

Shifts Available:

• 7pm-7:30am

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Maternal Special Care

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Compassionate and caring demeanor

• Familiarity with medical terminology

• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

• Must have up to date certification in the state of NY

Responsibilities:

• Monitor mothers with high-risk pregnancies

• Assess vital signs and fetal heart rates

• Administer medications and IV fluids as needed

• Provide emotional support and education to mothers and families

• Assist with prenatal tests and procedures

• Collaborate with obstetricians and maternal-fetal specialists

• Prepare patients for labor, delivery, or surgery if needed

• Monitor for signs of complications (preterm labor, preeclampsia, etc.)

• Document patient conditions and care provided

• Educate mothers about postpartum care and newborn care basics
