Title: Registered Nurse - Diagnostic Treatment Center Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract, Day Shift, Mon-Fri 08:30am-05:00pm Compensation: Pay Range: $41.65-$59.50 Per HR Description: Ensure quality and safe delivery of nursing services in the Diagnostic & Treatment Center and Day Health Center. Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate nursing care in the Medical Practice and Day Health Center. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team regarding infection control and surveillance activities. Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by the primary care provider. Provide prescribed or emergency care to patients requiring professional nursing services. Evaluate and promote a safe environment for participants and comply with national patient safety standards. Manage overall operation of the Diagnostic Treatment Center including inventory and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team regarding infection control activities. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed. Investigate and resolve customer issues and grievances. Perform diagnostic tests and obtain laboratory specimens. Evaluate and report participant's condition to the physician. Document all new medications administered in participant's electronic medical record. Track stock medications and medical supplies to ensure proper inventory. Qualifications: Degree from an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred. Minimum of one year general clinical experience in a certified home health agency, acute care, or nursing home. Current active and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support certified by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Proficient in use of a computer for email, word processing, and maintenance of participant records. Ability to work weekends and establish good rapport with participants and peers.
