As a CVOR RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular operating room setting. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals undergoing surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest standards of care and patient safety during cardiovascular surgeries. - Utilize your expertise in surgical procedures and cardiovascular care to support the surgical team. - Assess patient conditions pre-operatively and monitor vital signs and overall status during and after surgery. - Administer medications and assist in the management of post-operative recovery. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and infection control standards. Qualifications: - New York State Nursing License required in hand for submission. - Minimum of 1 year of CVOR nursing experience. - Strong clinical skills including experience with EPIC charting system. - Must be able to float as needed and manage patient ratios effectively. - Previous charge experience is preferred. Unit Details: - This unit requires nurses to work in a high-pressure environment, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic setting that accommodates a diverse patient population.
