Job Description:ARMStaffing is seeking experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurses (CVOR RNs) for high-paying travel and local contract opportunities across the U.S. CVOR RNs play a critical role in cardiac surgical teams, assisting with open-heart procedures and advanced cardiovascular interventions in state-of-the-art operating rooms. If you're a highly skilled OR nurse with a passion for cardiac care, this is the assignment for you.Key Responsibilities:• Assist surgeons in high-acuity cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic aneurysm repair• Prepare the operating room with appropriate instruments, sterile equipment, and supplies• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and surgical safety protocols• Monitor patients intraoperatively, including vitals and cardiac function• Collaborate with perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs during complex cases• Document all perioperative care and interventions in the hospital's EMR (e.g., EPIC, Cerner)Qualifications:• Active RN license (compact or state-specific)• Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience, with 1+ year in CVOR preferred• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification a plus• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, procedures, and surgical instruments• Ability to function effectively under pressure in high-stakes environmentsAt ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
