Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (RN - CVICU) Location: Albany, NY Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension Pay Range: $60 - $70/hr. We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.Schedule Notes: Shift Timing: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Travel CVICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care for postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring intensive monitoring. Candidates must demonstrate strong competencies with high-acuity patients, trauma-level one experience, and proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Applicants must have recent Epic EMR experience and complete a required competency test within 24 hours of submission. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and temporary pacemakers
• Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and interpret ECGs
• Titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team for patient stabilization and recovery
• Document all patient care using Epic EMR

Skills & Requirements:

• Epic EMR Experience: Required

Experience:

• 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience required
• Trauma Level One experience required

Competency Test:

• Must be completed within 24 hours of submission
• Test link will be sent via candidate's email (ensure email is current)

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

License:

• NY RN License (Active only; no pending licenses accepted)
