RN - Ambulatory Surgery - Health Advocates Network : Job Details

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a RN - Ambulatory Surgery Care to work at a facility in Albany , NY. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $62 / hour

*W2

Shifts Available:

• 7am-7pm

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a RN - Ambulatory Surgery

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Compassionate and caring demeanor

• Familiarity with medical terminology

• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

• Must have up to date certification in the state of NY

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for same-day surgical procedures

• Perform pre-operative assessments and check vital signs

• Start IV lines and administer pre-op medications

• Assist surgeons and anesthesia team during procedures

• Monitor patients in the recovery area (PACU)

• Manage pain control and watch for post-op complications

• Educate patients and families about discharge instructions

• Ensure proper documentation of care provided

• Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment

• Coordinate with the surgical team and other departments
