Rip Saw Operator - Owens Corning : Job Details

Product Inspection: Perform visual inspections of the product to ensure quality standards are met. Machine Adjustments: Make minor adjustments to the machine to maintain product tolerance. Stacking and Banding: Stack boards and pieces onto a lift table or cart in a neat and orderly fashion according to size as they come off the saw. Place tags on units and use the banding tool to affix strapping. Safety Communication: Keep the Shift Supervisor informed of any safety-related issues or concerns. Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping by keeping the work area free from clutter and debris. Documentation: Complete end-of-shift paperwork in a neat and legible fashion. Qualifications and Experience Education: HS Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Preferred background in agricultural or industrial settings. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move boards weighing 50 75 lbs. (with assistance).
