POSITION: RIGHT OF WAY TECHNICIANDEPARTMENT: WASTE WATERResponsibilities:Performs a variety of rights-of-way cleaning, clearing, inspections, and maintenance on all County Waste Water Rights-of-WaysRequired Licenses or Certifications* A valid SC Driver's license and CDL certification with Tanker Endorsement, or ability to obtain one.* Ability to obtain Wastewater Certifications.Competencies for Successful Performance of Job Duties* Considerable knowledge of sewer equipment, facilities, materials, methods, and procedures used in maintenance and repair activities.* Skill in the operation of some of the listed tools and equipment.* Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods of time; ability to work safely; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the public; ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSFormal Education and Experience* High School diploma or equivalency* Up to 1 year experience
